Musana’s annual Taste to Transform fundraiser generated more than $800,000 in support of community transformation in Uganda.

Nearly 500 guests came together for an evening of storytelling, vision-casting, and celebration at the Mile High Station in Denver over the weekend.

The event featured a recently released clip from the Finding Musana documentary, a live auction and paddle raise, and an incredible talk from author and speaker Bob Goff, who inspired the room with a message of hope and generosity.

Proceeds from the night will fund construction of new nursery and primary schools in Mayuge and Budaka, creating access to quality, affordable education for more than 2,000 children. These schools are part of Musana’s replication model — social enterprises that create sustainable economies and break cycles of poverty.

“Musana is not charity,” said Erin Moser, Chief Advancement Officer. “It’s enterprise-driven development rooted in faith and dignity. Uganda’s people are capable and creative; our role is to provide the capital and infrastructure that unleashes their potential.”

Faith was woven throughout the evening, anchored in the reminder from Ephesians 3:20 that ‘God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine’.

The fundraiser was presented by Furniture Row & Denver Mattress, whose partnership was instrumental to the event’s success, along with other sponsors. Musana also expressed gratitude to donors, volunteers, board members, and staff who made the night possible.

While the $800,000 raised represents a significant milestone, leaders emphasized that the greater story is one of momentum — a growing movement of people who see Africa not as a continent defined by need, but as a marketplace of opportunity.
